Grandeur  Calligraphy  Exhibition

On 5 September 2009, Karachiites witnessed a Calligraphy
Exhibition @ Grandeur owned by Neshmia Nadeem,
showcase some of the inspiring Paintings by well known
Personalities like Mashkoor Raza, Akram Spaul, Nazir
Ahmad, Naseem Nishofoze, A.S. Rind, Mansoor Salim,
Sadeqain, Ahmad Khan, Irfan Ahmad Qureshi, M. Ali
Zahid, Ghulam Murteza.

The paintings showed inscribed verses of Holy Quran
and the painting also tells us how an artist could use his
imaginative powers to create such marvelous masterpieces.
The calligraphy was done on white canvas with traditional
colors and remarkable techniques.

Those who attended the exhibition were Frieha Altaf, Nazneen Tariq, Lubna Haroon, Sheji Kazmi, Tabinda Chinoi, Shobha Isphani etc. And people from all walks of life who appreciated their efforts with expectations of more quality and joie de vivre. Sobia Nazir’s Exhibition of “Spring Summer Lawn Prints Collection 2009”

Her lawn exhibition was kicked off in Karachi on
March 11th -12th and she will work her way through
Lahore on 15th 16th at PFDC the Boulevard 10-Q Gulberg II
from 11am – 9pm and on 18th and 19th. PC Hotel Xavier
Hall 10-am 10pm, to Islamabad @ Sobia Nazir Gallery

In Karachi, the exhibition’s media launch was held on 11th
March at Marriot Hotel and people thronged into the
exhibition especially women from all walks of life. Iraj

and Fouzia wore Sobia’s prêt lawn and were busy interacting with visitors and passing their smiles to cameras which were brilliantly captured by Kohi Marri and a successful PR done by Asif Abdul Razzak @ Catalyst (sister concern Catwalk Productions) supervised by Frieha Altaf.

The colors and print of the lawn highly impressed the visitors and affordable prices ranging from 1690to 2790 was a loot sale on the first day to grapple the exceptional designs of the Islamabad based designer.




Unspoken Revelations (Photography Exhibition)



On March 1, 2009, Karachiites witnessed a photography
exhibition @ Grandeur owned by Neshmia Nadeem,
showcase some of the inspiring pieces captured by
upcoming photographers Humayon Memon, Rida Khokhar
, Talha Asim Wynne.
Some of the pieces displayed for exhibition were well
captured and remarkably exposed through their lenses,
from old monuments, buildings to highlighting different
human sublimes and religion.
Those who attended the exhibition were Ameen J, Auj,
Frieha Altaf, Saara Tahir, Mr and Mrs Feroz Virani, Nazneen Tariq, Haseeb Pirzada, Yawar Halai, friends and families of the promising talents along with art lovers and people from all walks of life who appreciated their efforts with expectations of more quality and joie de vivre.

Pakistan's Art Exhibition in Dubai.



Exhibition of the master pieces of Pakistan's most
famous, creative and ground breaking artistes in
Dubai.

The event is organized by Basta Art, in association
with villano6.com. The exhibition will last for 15 day
started on 1st November, 2008 at Basta Art Café
and Gallery in Bastakiya, Dubai.

Creative director of villano6.com added here that
'This is time to avail this great opportunity to collaborate with Basta Art to showcase the utmost art from Pakistan” he further added ' The growing interest in Pakistani art in the UAE is very apparent and our aim is to cater to that interest by showcasing established and new artists for the local and large international expatriate audience in the Emirates'

The exhibition features a wide range of latest Pakistani art, including renowned names like Sarfraz Mussawir, Seemab Tariq and many more.

Also this exhibition is putting forward some new names like Junaid Sajid and Shazia Salman. Both of them have established themselves in Pakistan and now they are being exhibited in Dubai as well.

Farrah, gallery director of Basta Art also showed her excitement by mentioning the excellence of the art of Pakistani artistes. She further mentioned that 'Basta has showcased contemporary Pakistani art before but this exhibition brings an exciting mix of artists with a wide range of styles. The audience will be introduced to work that is not only beautiful but epitomizes the type of art that is generating great excitement in the art market in Pakistan'

PWO Talent Exhibition



A one-day exhibition to demonstrate the talent of
local youth in designing was held on November 22,
at the Crystal hall, Pearl Continental Lahore. It was
organised by the Pakistan Women' Organisation.

The PWO Talent Exhibtion featured the innovative

designs of Pakistan's young ladies, many of which have
established their names in local and overseas market.
Designer party wear & kurtay (stitched & unstitched), hand decorated items such as gift boxes, bakets, pouche, home decor items, album decoration, accessories are some of the items that were showcased in this exhibition
